Not quite so. Incomplete and misleading, as I found out when looking at your source.

Here is what the college had to say:

"Officials at the residence were not available to comment on Friday.

"On Saturday, the Guardia Civil said the laundry was set up years ago at the request of female students, to allow them to wash their undergarments.

"While males could not use the washing machines, it said all students had access to an off-site laundry service, the cost of which was included in their monthly fees."

Was this added in a later edit after David Harding had written his story? Or did he think their story was irrelevant and just not cool enough?

Afterthought:

As to the error when trying to access, has NY Daily News closed down or is there just some internet malfaisance? I do not yet know.
